Fourteen years as Belgian national sabre coach. Coach of the Belgian fencing team at the Rio Olympics. Former director of high-performance with the Flemish Fencing Federation. Belgium's most successful sabre coach of recent decades.

Athletes
Who he has coached.
Under his guidance, Seppe Van Holsbeke qualified for the Rio Olympics. Jolien Corteyn became European Champion U23 in Antalya, 2024. For three years he worked in Dallas and Washington with international top fencers.
